Custom Sidecar

Our custom made sidecar rig has a Velorex sidecar on a 250cc Kymco Venox motorcycle.  It has a standard 5 speed manual transmission with a standard style motorcycle clutch lever.  Riding this outfit will give you a real feel for how a sidecar handles and responds.  You’ll learn how to keep the tub down in normal situations and you will get a chance to explore more advanced techniques like flying the car and even drifting.

A sidecar is a one-wheeled device attached to the side of a motorcycle, scooter, or bicycle, producing a three-wheeled vehicle. A motorcycle with a sidecar is sometimes called a combination, an outfit, a rig or a hack. A sidecar motorcycle is a three-wheeled vehicle with the side wheel not directly aligned with the rear motorcycle wheel, and is usually powered by the rear wheel only. This is different from a motor tricycle (trike), where both rear wheels are powered and share a common axle.
